There is a point.. Sites like orkut should protect the privacy of their users.. at the same time they cant be 100% secure in blovking images.. So something is better than nothing ;-)

Just drag it to the desktop or any folder.. it will work.. or if u want a lenghty way, take a screenshot and save it :)

actually you don't need to take it to a new tab, just drag it to your desktop... although it won't hav a file extension. u can just add ".jpg" how hard is tht... those using mac os don't need to add anything it will be save in the file format automatically...

Your goals seem to be realistic and easy to obtain! Good luck with them! I personally feel I need to concentrate more on reading other blogs and commenting on them rather than most of my precious time in Social networking sites!

those are noble causes indeed. good luck in achieving them but what happened of "having more fun with my blog"? i guess this is what i am going to go after for 2009. Have more fun! It's been great so far but i wish it'll get better!

Microsoft hasn lost any share to linux , if its minor.

I think itll be a minor update of vista(leaner , cleaner and stable vista).with some UI tweaks thrown in ...

BTW, even if it does go lean it'll still be bloated and blloated like hell...

as long as the educational divide exists, i believe cultural differences will always be there... so i guess we need to address the education first...

Things will only improve if the 'haves" start caring about the "have nots". The idea of "each one teach one" can be aplied here as well.

Actually i think educational divide and informtion divide are pretty much the same thing. Those of us who have access to good education(eg private/english medium schools) will certainly have access to more information than those going to govt/non-english medium schools.

About the cultural divide, I'm not really sure if it will be that relevant in the future. I personally feel cultures/religions are just ways to differentiate one person from another. As the world become more and more globalised, cultures and religions will lose their relevance. But then these are my opinions.

Do comment more on what you think.
